Summer Work and Travel USA, 2010 Campus Promotions Conclude

A campus promotion for summer work and travel in the USA, 2010 was held at ZQU on Dec 15-16. Mr. Wen Shubin, Vice Director of the Office of International Cooperation and Exchange, hosted the promotion. Mr. Wen pointed out that the summer work and travel in the USA program offered a great opportunity for students to get to know the real America and enhance employment opportunities. Mr. Wen also mentioned that the International Office was making great efforts to make available more study and intern abroad programs in the near future.

Mr. He Yang of the hosting organization, the Guangzhou Branch of the China Service Center for Friendship and Cooperation with Foreign Countries, presented the promotion. Ms. Huo Lipin, a senior student from South China Agriculture University and Ms. Zhang Bifang, a graduating student from Guangdong Foreign Studies University, having just returned from the summer work and travel program this Oct., shared with the audience their first hand experiences of working and staying in the USA this summer.

The promotion were well received. Up until now, over 70 students have applied for the program.
