International Students’ Premier Participation in the Annual Sports Meet

On Nov. 20, the annual sports meet took place. McKenna Jandrey and Matthew Kelm, representing the International College, took part in the 100m and 200m women’s and the 400m and 1500m men’s finals. It was the first time International Students participated in the sports meet.

Coming from the US state of Minnesota, McKenna and Matthew began to study Chinese language and culture at ZQU this Sept. Both are big running fans. McKenna was one of the top 10 runners at her high school while Matthew once won fourth place in the Minnesota regional marathon tournament.
