On Dec 28th evening, New Year’s concert by ZQU Wind Orchestra was held in the concert hall. It has been the 8th year since its establishment in 2008. Founded and headed by Swiss Prof. Nie Ying, the orchestra is developed into over 60 students. The orchestra has given many concerts including the opening ceremony of Guangzhou Asian Games performing mostly military music and Symphonic Winds, winning first prizes in Guangdong Instrument Competition for Universities, Middle Schools and Primary Schools, Art Expo for Guangdong College Students ect.
